The Kimpton Christmas Market has grown into a cherished local event, attracting visitors from across the county in search of unique gifts, delicious treats, family fun and seasonal cheer. More than just a shopping event, our Christmas Market captures the magic of the season by bringing the whole community together, celebrating local talent and creating opportunities for families, neighbours and friends to enjoy the warmth, joy and traditions of Christmas. There’s something for everyone and plenty of Christmas magic!

Stall Bookings

We’re very excited to announce details of how to book a stall at our Kimpton Christmas Market 2026. This event is all about creating a warm, joyful atmosphere across our historic village and offering a little something for everyone to enjoy. We are continuing to have over 30 craft stalls in our beautiful historic Parish Church with a change of location from The Green to Kimpton Primary School for another 20 stalls.

Locations

Kimpton Parish Church – the tables and pew tops are set up within Church and each location will have advantages and limitations.
Kimpton Primary School. Inside spaces in the Main Hall and outside pitches on the playground. Bring your own table, no longer than 180cm.

Fees

Kimpton Parish Council has agreed to charge the same stall fee at all the locations for 2026. This will be £30.00.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made by stallholders less than 4 weeks before the event date will be subject to an administration charge of 50% of fees paid. Cancellation made by stallholders within 2 weeks before the event date will be subject to an administration charge of 100% of fees paid.

Tombola

This year we are organising a craft tombola to raise funds for Kimpton Primary School. If, as a stallholder, you can offer a prize for the tombola please do let us know at the time of the booking. All items are gratefully received.

Friday 27th November 6-9pm

The countdown begins!
Join us at Kimpton Primary School as we officially launch the Christmas Market weekend with an evening of festive food, drinks and live entertainment.

Enjoy:

Licensed bar serving mulled wine, beer and festive drinks
Delicious street food including:
- Dan’s Pizza
- Festive BBQ
A warm, welcoming atmosphere under Kimpton festive lights

Discover over 30 artisan stalls showcasing beautifully handcrafted gifts, festive decorations, homeware, jewellery, food and unique creations from talented local makers. If you’re looking for thoughtful Christmas presents you won’t find on the High Street, this is the perfect place to browse.

Kimpton Primary School

There’s festive fun for the whole family!
Children can enjoy:
• Christmas games and activities
• A magical Christmas Grotto
• Activity tables in the dining hall
• The ever-popular PTA Children’s Trail
Follow the trail around all the Christmas Market venues before finishing at the school, where children can:
• Meet Santa (12:00pm–4:00pm)
• Receive a prize
• Enjoy games and festive activities

Live Music at the School

Our festive soundtrack runs throughout the weekend, featuring an exciting programme of local talent.

Solo artists and acoustic performers

From much-loved Christmas classics to upbeat sing-alongs, our live music programme creates the perfect atmosphere while you browse, shop and celebrate. The line up will appeal to all tastes and provide a vibrant atmosphere to the refreshment marquee.
Whether you’re staying for an hour or spending the whole afternoon, there’s always something happening at Kimpton Primary School this year.

Gingerbread Competition

We will be hosting a fun gingerbread competition where you can design and build a unique structure using gingerbread, frosting and various edible decorations. Traditional Christmas themes, fairy tale scenes or seasonal creations would all be welcome. Entries to be taken to Kimpton Primary School on Saturday 28th November between 9.30 and 11.30.

There will be prizes for winners of two categories: ‘under age 12’ and ‘adult’ with judging on creativity and visual appeal. Go on and have a go!!

Car Parking

Cars can be parked at Parkfield Sports Ground car park, off Hitchin Road which is a 3 minute walk to the Church and a 8 min walk to the school. what3words ///above.cock.usual

There is no car parking on The Green or Church Lane.

There are a few car parking spaces for disabled drivers outside Church House. Please do not drive up the tree-lined walkway to the Church as it is a dead end.

Toilet and Welfare Facilities

Friday 27th November – Toilets are available at Kimpton Primary School, High Street.

Saturday 28th November – Facilities are available at Church House, which is located on the left fork pathway in the Churchyard of St Peter and St Paul Parish Church and at Kimpton Primary School, High Street.

Dogs

We’re sorry that due to the booking conditions, no dogs, except for assisted dogs, are allowed in the Parish Church or Kimpton School.
