At the last council meeting concerns were raised linked to the play area at the bottom of the Recreation Ground, in relation to increased traffic to the updated facility and the safety of children at play. Some residents feel that it should be fenced in line with the new development, whereas others like the open feel of the space in keeping with the nature of the village. Councillors are hoping to gauge local opinion on this to inform their decision.
