Kimpton Horse Show

The Kimpton Horse Show Committee – Charlie, Nat, Mitch, Lucy, Katrina, Sarah, Katy and Eloise – met virtually for the first-time this year to discuss the possibility of the 2021 Kimpton Horse Show. We concluded that we are going to continue to plan to run the 2021 show in whatever way we can – hooray!

The form of our running will depend on the current coronavirus restrictions in place at the time, but we anticipate that we will be able to go ahead with all usual competition in a socially-distanced manor. We may however have to forgo things like our bar, trade stands, dog show and ever-popular officials and sponsor lunch where it is more difficult to keep people apart.

Sponsorship plea
With plans for the show to go ahead, we are once again looking for sponsorship.
The sponsorship we receive in advance of the show allows us to put the infrastructure in place to be able to run, it also contributes to the money the show makes from entry fees for the local causes and charities that we support year-on-year.

We appreciate that the past year may have posed financial difficulties for small business and for those who have previously pledged their support to Kimpton Horse Show, but we would be incredible grateful for any support you would be able to give for the 2021 running.

Contingency…
Should the lockdown guidelines still be in place and we are unable to run, we will again take the show ‘virtual’ as we did, very successfully, in 2020.
