A replacement basket has been purchased and installed in the Recreation Ground. We’re sorry that this popular piece of play equipment was out of commission for some of the summer holiday and am pleased that the children can now safely enjoy it again.

Playground basket damage

Recreation Ground playground – the basket to the centre pendulum swing has been removed on the advice of our playground inspector. The metal ring has come apart inside the blue rope and could cause a finger trap. The default has been reported to the supplier and we are awaiting their response regarding repair or replacement.
